ABOUT THE PRODUCT

ROBTX Afro Smart Texture Hair Restructuring Treatment is a professional smoothing and restructuring treatment designed specifically with textured hair in mind.

Its protein-based formula works with heat to help realign the hair fibre and create a smoother, straighter-looking shape. By helping fill areas of the hair that have become porous or weakened, the treatment supports a smoother-looking cuticle and helps improve the overall appearance, strength and manageability of the hair.

The result is smoother, shinier and more manageable hair with reduced frizz, while the treatment can also make the hair quicker and easier to style and dry.

Unlike conventional straightening systems, the thermo-active technology is activated by the temperature of the straightening iron rather than relying on formaldehyde. The formula is 100% formaldehyde-free and free from harsh chemicals.

With suitable professional application and aftercare, results can last approximately 10–14 weeks, depending on hair type, condition, porosity, washing frequency and lifestyle.

HOW TO USE

Professional use only.

1. Cleanse
Wash the hair thoroughly 1–2 times, ensuring all product residue is removed.

2. Rough-Dry
After shampooing, towel-dry/rough-dry the hair until it is approximately 80% dry.

3. Apply the Treatment
Apply ROBTX Afro Smart strand by strand, avoiding the scalp. Ensure all hair is evenly covered, combing through periodically to distribute the product.

Leave to develop for 15–25 minutes, depending on the desired result.

4. Rinse
Rinse the hair thoroughly with water only.

For additional shine, the original instructions recommend applying a hair mask with Argan Oil for 3 minutes, then rinsing again.

5. Blow-Dry & Apply Heat
Apply a small amount of Argan Oil, then blow-dry the hair completely.

Divide the hair into small sections of approximately 0.5cm, beginning at the nape of the neck.

6. Seal with Heat
Using a professional straightening iron, pass over each section 5–8 times, working from root to ends, until the entire head has been completed.

AFTERCARE

For maximum longevity, use a professional salt-free shampoo and conditioner suitable for smoothing or keratin-treated hair.

With appropriate aftercare, the treatment effect can last approximately 10–14 weeks.
