ABOUT THE PRODUCT

The Brazilian Afro Smoothing System is a professional three-step treatment specifically designed for Afro and textured hair. Its protein-based formula combines Afro Keratin and Sensitine Technology to smooth and reshape the hair while providing conditioning and reconstructive care.

Nano Keratin and amino acids help replenish areas of porosity within the hair fibre, while the heat-activated technology works with the straightening iron to help realign the hair cuticle and create the desired smoother shape.

The formula is designed to nourish, hydrate and strengthen the hair while improving softness, shine and manageability. It also helps control frizz and the effects of humidity, making textured hair easier to style and maintain.

The level of curl reduction and smoothing can be influenced by the development time and application technique, allowing the treatment to be adapted according to the desired result.

Results can last approximately 3-4 months depending on hair type, condition, porosity, washing routine, lifestyle and aftercare.*

HOW TO USE

STEP 1 - Cleanse

Wash the hair thoroughly with shampoo 2-3 times, ensuring that all product residue and oils are removed.

Rough-dry the hair until approximately 80-90% dry.

STEP 2 - Afro Protein Keratin Treatment

Divide the hair into 4 sections, beginning at the nape of the neck.

Working with small sections of approximately 0.5-1cm, apply the treatment from root to ends, leaving a 0.5cm gap from the scalp. Do not apply directly to the scalp.

Continue until all the hair is covered, combing through the sections as required to distribute the product evenly.

Leave to develop for 20-30 minutes, depending on the desired result.

STEP 3 - Rinse & Mask

Rinse the hair thoroughly with water only.

Apply the Step 3 Intensive Repair Mask and leave for 3-8 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

STEP 4 - Blow-Dry & Heat Activation

Apply a good-quality Argan Oil - Renew Argan Oil is recommended.

Blow-dry the hair completely.

Divide the hair into sections of approximately 0.5cm and flat iron each section, starting at the nape.

Seal the hair by passing the straightening iron 7-8 times through each small section from root to ends.

AFTERCARE

Use suitable professional keratin aftercare products to help maintain the smoothing effect and prolong the results.

With appropriate aftercare, results can last approximately 3-4 months.*
